Why my nickname is Do?

It's a funny story! When my aunt Helen was four years old she would sing the theme song to the Mickey Mouse Club all day long to her baby brother Bobby.

She could not pronounce Mickey Mouse, so she would sing Mickey Do Mickey Do Mickey Do! Of course, his nickname became Mickey Do, and when my dad was born he became Mikey Do.

My dad loved his big brother so much that he named me Bobby after him and that's how I became Bobby Do! Even though our last name is Mitchell, we are known as the Do family from Atlantic City. So it's a family nickname.
